Admission to nursing programs is conducted through the entrance examination organized by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS). Candidates must register for the entrance examination through the official SSUHS website and follow the admission guidelines announced by the university.

RINPS offers the following professional programs:

  • GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) – 3 Years
  • B.Sc. Nursing – 4 Years
  • Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing – 2 Years
  • M.Sc. Nursing (Medical-Surgical Specialty) – 2 Years
  • BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology) – 4 Years

Applicants must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 40% marks. Students from Science or Arts streams with English as a subject are eligible. Candidates must also meet the age criteria of 17 to 35 years at the time of admission.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 45% aggregate marks from a recognized board. The minimum age for admission is 17 years as of 31st December of the admission year.

Yes. Candidates applying for M.Sc. Nursing must have completed B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and must have at least one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

Yes. Eligible candidates must appear for the SSUHS entrance examination, which includes multiple-choice questions from General Knowledge, English, and Science (Class XII syllabus).
